Roz’s clinical research interests include the development, evaluation, dissemination and implementation of evidence-based psychological treatments across the age range. She has particular expertise in obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, perfectionism and persistent loneliness. Her current role is focused on understanding common mental health disorders in the context of chronic illness in children and young people.

She is a former NICE expert advisor, scientific co-chair of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy, and associate editor of Behaviour Research and Therapy, the leading journal in the field.

She has been awarded 40 major grants and contracts, totalling around £15m
