Roz’s clinical research interests include development, evaluation, dissemination and implementation of evidence-based psychological treatments across the age range. She has particular expertise in obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and perfectionism. Her current role is focused on understanding common mental health disorders in the context of chronic illness in children and young people.

She is a NICE expert advisor, and was formerly scientific co-chair of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy, and an associate editor of Behaviour Research and Therapy, the leading journal in the field.

She has been awarded 39 major grants and contracts, totalling around £15m (not adjusted for inflation).

Her work has been cited over 28,000 times.
