Bespoke Mental Health

A purposeful project to improve the access and availability of high quality and evidenced-based mental health training

Background

A consistent theme across Roz’s work is the translation of research into clinical practice. She was on the organising committee of the annual Scientific Conference for the BABCP for over 20 years, and founded the Charlie Waller Institute of Evidence-Based Psychological Therapies.

Building on these experiences, Roz has set up Bespoke Mental Health (www.bespokementalhealth.co.uk) with former colleagues from the Charlie Waller Institute.

Core Mission

Bespoke Mental Health’s aim is to improve mental health by expert training.

Bespoke provides high-quality training in evidence-based psychological therapies to mental health professionals, delivered by world-leading experts. The aim is to reach as many people as possible who could benefit from this training. To help achieve this, work with the NHS, charities and universities is done on a non-profit basis.

Over 20 NHS organisations subscribe to Bespoke’s workshop programme alongside private mental health providers.

Commercial Activities

Bespoke also works with commercial partners delivering workplace mental health training to ensure their training reflects the latest research evidence and best practice. Such training can also be delivered directly by Bespoke.
